Meet the Fellows
Research Experiences
Kerri Cahoy
Dr. Kerri Cahoy, a NASA Postdoctoral Program fellow, is boldly exploring new frontiers in the cosmos through her research in the field of exoplanet science at Ames Research Center in Moffett Field, Calif.
Jill Deppe
While a fellow at the Goddard Space Flight Center, Deppe studied avian migration on continental scales to understand the potential impacts of climate change, natural disasters, and human activities on migratory birds.
Keigo Fukumura
Located at the Goddard Space Flight Center, Fukumura is studying the mystery surrounding black holes, specifically the X-ray activities associated with black hole accretion processes, which will greatly help scientists understand their specific roles of producing observable high energy phenomena.
Sayata Ghose (pdf)
While a fellow at NASA's Langley Research Center, Ghose applied her studies of polymers to improve NASA's spacesuits. Published with permission of Diversity/Careers in Engineering & Information Technology.
Leigh Jenkins
Jenkins, along with Astrophysicist Ann Hornschemeier at the Goddard Space Flight Center, has led a study of the Coma cluster, an enormous congregation of galaxies 320 million light-years away in the Coma Berenices constellation.
Ryan Milligan
Who knew the open road could one day lead to outer space? That’s the response former professional truck driver Milligan gives when asked if he ever thought he would someday work for NASA.
Michael Obland
Obland kept his eyes on the broad, clear skies of his native land—“Big Sky Country” near Colstrip, Mont.—and is now a physicist researching the impact of air quality on climate change.
Michael Russell
NASA Postdoctoral Fellow Dr. Michael Russell researched the emergence of life through hydrogen available in earth’s hot springs and ocean depths.
Christopher Wohl
Wohl, a research chemist, seeks new and imaginative ways to help ameliorate nagging moon-dust problems as a participant in NASA’s Postdoctoral Program.
